    Question

When creating a Hold Request through RESTful API the transaction is only registered in the events table (z35) but not registered in the circulation logger (Z309).

    Can this be configured?

    Answer

In versions 20 and 21, the RESTful API does not create circulation logger entries for Hold Requests.

It was corrected in versions 22 (SP 22.1.8) and 23 (SP 23.1.0). See the relevant description:

Now creating and deleting of hold request with DLF service create a log record. This functionality is based on the definition in tab_circ_log.lng for transaction numbers 71 and 73.
