    Description

When will Oracle 11.2 stop being supported for Aleph, and Oracle 12c, required?

    Resolution

Ex Libris supports the current version of Aleph -- as of December 2016, Aleph 23 -- and the previous version, Aleph 22.  Aleph 22 will be supported until December, 2018 -- at which time Aleph 24 will be available and the supported versions will be 23 and 24.

As noted in the article "Support of Oracle 12c in Aleph":  "Aleph 22 does not support the use of Oracle 12."  Therefore, Oracle will be required for Aleph, no sooner than December, 2018.

(When an Aleph version goes out of Support, though no new fixes will be created for that version,  the Support team continues indefinitely to handle problems which arise.)
