    Wrong license warning in GUI

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct; Direct; Local; Total Care

    Problem Symptoms:
    - License expiry warning in GUI is wrong in cases where the license will expire in more than 10 days.

    Example:
While the license file actually expires in 18 days, the warning says "License will expire in 8 days."

    Cause:
    A programming bug.

    Resolution:
Fixed with rep_change 2127 (Aleph 21): The license expiration warning message in the GUI is incorrect if the license expires in ten days or more. Only one digit of the days is displayed. For example, if the license expires in 19 days, the warning message is incorrect, as follows: "License will expire in 9 days". This has been corrected.

    Additional Information

For Local, Direct, or Dedicated-Direct customers:
See Article 000044923 (How to Apply a New Server License) for complete instructions on applying a new Aleph license to the server.

    For Total Care customers:
Create a Salesforce case for Aleph support to have a new Aleph license applied to your server.
