    Z13 table in ADM library

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23

    Description:
Our ADM record keys are no longer in synch with our bib record keys. We want to have a Z13 table in the xxx50/ADM library with the same information as the bib Z13 (to make inclusion of bib data on SQL reports easier). Is this possible?

    Resolution:
You CAN get data from the bib library, using the Z103 links, even if the bib and ADM libraries are not in synch. See first article below. Note that *the system* has no requirement for an ADM (or HOL) z13 table: it always gets Z13 bib data from the bib library Z13.

In order to avoid this and have the z13 be in the xxx50 library also, manage-07 can be run in the ADM library with the following line in the xxx50 tab_expand:
    CREATE-Z13 expand_doc_adm_bib

This means that the fields from the bib record will be included in building the ADM Z13.
