    Problem Symptoms:
    When searching in a foreign database Greek characters are not displayed properly and a search with Greek characters leads to no result

    Cause:
    Configuration

    Resolution:
    The relevant lines in $alephe_tab/z39_gate/z39_gate_XXX.conf should have no character conversion assigned. Then utf_8 is considered.
