    Description:
After upgrading to v20 via Upgrade Express, when we run aleph_startup it hangs with these lines:

    starting illsv background deamon...
    Load: /exlibris/aleph/u20_2/alephe/tab/tab100
    Load: /exlibris/aleph/a20_2/illsv/tab/tab100
    cycling server.log
    monitoring startup complete signal
    ................................................................................................
    ..................................................................................<etc.>

    Resolution:
This behaviour is caused by JBoss startup script. JBOSS is used for RESTful APIs -- such as, OvP/ Opac via Primo . (More information can be found on EL Commons.)

If you are not performing RESTful API's you can comment out the following lines near the end of aleph_startup:

    cd $aleph_dev/ng/aleph/home/system/bin
    bash jboss_startup.sh

If you do use jboss, do the diagnosis described in Article 000033823 ("jboss not starting").
