    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 21

    Problem Symptoms:
A setting of DEFAULT-BOR-VERIFY-1=Y in the xxx50 tab110 is supposed to cause the z308 type 00 z308_verification to be obtained from the z52 last-bor-verify-1. In version 21, when file-20 ("Patron Loader") generates a z308 type 00 record for a new patron, rather than getting the z308_verification value from the util g/2 last-bor-verify-1 counter, it uses the z303_rec_key as the verification.

    Cause:
Bug in version 21 b_file_20_chk_edit_record program.

    Resolution:
Corrected by v21 rep_change 2224 (change to b_file_20_chk_edit_record program.) The rep_change will be included in the Dec. 31 version 21 Service Pack.

    Additional Information

This worked correctly in version 20.
