The rules for program fix_doc_punctuation_usm are as follows:
Field 245
Subfield a - dot at the end when there is no following subfield
- colon at the end when subfield b follows
- slash at the end when subfield c follows
Subfield b - dot at the end when there is no following subfield
- slash at the end when subfield c follows
Subfield c - dot at the end
Field 260 and 264
Subfield a - dot at the end when there is no following subfield
- colon at the end when subfield b follows
- comma at the end when subfield c follows
b - dot at the end when there is no following subfield
- comma at the end when subfield c follows
c - dot at the end
Field 300
Subfield a - dot at the end when there is no following subfield
- colon at the end when subfield b follows
- semicolon at the end when subfield c follows
Subfield b - dot at the end when there is no following subfield
- semicolon at the end when subfield c follows
Subfield c - dot at the end when there is no following subfield
Relevant for all fields: the ending dot is only added when there is not a dot at the end, e.g. when having 300$$a245 p. no dot will be added.
