    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23

    Problem Symptoms:
Using the dlib XXXYY command I get the message:
    > get_ora_passwd: open: Permission denied

    Cause:
Password file has only read permissions

    Resolution:
Change the permissions on the /exlibris/aleph/ora_aleph/ora_passwd_aleph1 file
    from:
    -r--------

    to:
    -rwxrwxrwx

    Example:   chmod 777 ora_passwd_aleph1

(Note:  This can't be done as the aleph user; must be done as root.)
