    html.pck being created by unknown action.

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    Problem Symptoms:
    ls -lrt in the directory shows that the ./form_eng/html.pck was recreated at 13:26. No one ran util/6 to create it. Who or what regenerated the html.pck? {The problem is that the automatic importing of this new html.pck wipes out the forms on the client and thus all the customization without anyone knowing it took place. (A notice is routinely sent out when util i/6 is to be run, so that staff can be prepared.)}

    Cause:
    In the GUI, when the "XSL Creator" button in the Print History window {Aleph (upper left) --> Print History} is used, when the xsl file created is saved on the server, util i/6 is automatically invoked.

    Resolution:
    Corrected by v22 rep_change #002184.

    The message which appears when invoking XSL Creator has been changed to state: "You are about to ... and repack the html.pck file".

    This is a change to the 'ChangeXslFileOnServer' message in the PC file .\alephcom\tab\LNG\message.dat .
