    Description:
Both the pc_server log and the www_server log have the following error:

    license_check [err]: checksum error
    Error: License check failed, Exiting

    Resolution:
    There can be two causes:

    1. The "User" line, such as: "User : ABCU20-1 license." was included as the first line in the license file. This line must *not* be included. Please try deleting it and restarting the servers.

    Or:

    2. Ex Libris staff made a mistake in creating the checksum lines (the lines at the top of the license). Please paste the license file into Notepad and attach it to the Case, so it can be studied.

If the old license file (which this new one is replacing) has not yet expired, you should be able to restore that file and run aleph_shutdown / aleph_startup to get the system functioning again.
