    Description

manage-62 ("Change item records") fails to update records found by ret-adm-01 ("General Retrieval Form") OR for manually created input file.

    Resolution

    1. Problem: "Y" specified for p_report_option ("Build batch report") in ret-adm-01.

Run ret-adm-01 with p_report_option "N" -- to get file of item record numbers for input to manage-62 -- or another process which produces z30_rec_key's (item-record keys).

    2. Use the file from step 1 as input to the manage-62 service.

    3. Make sure that the input file contains item record numbers like 00003456700010 and not ADM record numbers (000034567XXX50). Item-record numbers consist of the 9-digit ADM number followed by the 6-digit item sequence number..
