manage-62: Unable to change sublibrary/collection in items

Problem Symptoms:
Changes to item record collections, sublibraries, and call numbers via manage-62 (" Update Item Records") don't work.
Cause:
In the following case (which is the typical case with most item records) the z30_sub_library, z30_collection, or z30_call_no of HOL-linked items can *not* be changed by manage-62 in the ADM library, and need to be changed by manage-21 ("Global change") in the xxx60 HOL library instead:
* the item record is connected to an HOL record (000123456),
* the z30_temp_location is set to "N"; and
* the xxx50 tab100 has "X852-ITEM-OVERRIDE=Y".
Resolution:
Run manage-21 ("Global change") in the xxx60 HOL library. (The change is propagated to the associated items via the xxx60 ue_01.) See also article " Direct updates to Item sublibrary, collection, and call number do not work (when X852-ITEM-OVERRIDE=Y) ".
Before running the manage-21 in xxx60, you should use the file-03 Service to back up the xxx60 z00 table and the affected xxx50 z30 (item) table.
Additional Information
1. p-manage-62.html Help has been updated by v20 rep_change 2368 to include the following note:
"When the item record is connected to an HOL record, and the z30_temp_location is set to "N", and the ADM tab100 has "X852-ITEM-OVERRIDE=Y" - then p_manage_62 can not be used to change the sub library, collection, or call number. In this case - p_manage_21 in the HOL library must be used. "
2. If the problem occurs with item fields other than the z30_sub_library, z30_collection, or z30_call_no, consult KB 16384-61985 ("manage-62 does not alter records in input file").
