    Description:
I modified /etc/aliases so that mail sent to aleph@abc.edu would be redirected to library@abc.edu. The table says that I also need to run newaliases for these to take effect. Where do I find this and what command do I use to run it?

    Resolution:
newaliases is in /usr/bin so you should be able to (as the root user) issue the command from any place:
    ./newaliases
    if that doesn't work then
    cd /usr/bin
    ./newaliases
