    Description:
I am experimenting with the use of these two services to batch load our images into the catalog.

I have been able to get the variable fields (100, 245, etc.) to work fairly well, and have been able to create the image/Adam records.

I would like to be able to create as much of the final record using the z403_template.xml as possible and am having trouble with some of the fixed fields.

The LDR (Leader) field loads automatically using the Books format. I would want the records to load automatically using the Visual format. Is this possible?

I have attempted to input both the 007 and 008 fields, but when I bring these fields up using the Open Form command, again it is the Book format form rather than the Visual format form, and the values are in the wrong fields. The template's use of a ^ for a blank space does not seem to translate into a blank space in the form.

The basic template used by Aleph loads the bibliographic record and the z403 Adam record. Is it possible to also create a Holdings record in this template?

    Resolution:
P_adam_01 correctly handles non-numeric fields. P_adam_02 keeps the spaces in control fields.
