    p_cir_51 generated error ..... looks like need to drop z305 in usr_library

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 18.01

    Description:
    We did the upgrade express from 16.02 to 18.01 and also the WEBILL to ILL2 over the weekend. This morning was the first time we ran reports via job_list. Our overdue notices (p_cir_51) are generating an error:

    Oracle error: update_cursor z305
    ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

    Looking at the KB, I see 8192-6983 with a similar message....

    I see in our step 1009 of the UE16-17, there was a warning that the table z305 doesn't exist in abc00 (our $usr_library). I have verified that it IS defined in file_list and believe all I should have to do is the util a/17/1 to put things back on track but would like you to verify that I will not cause other issues by doing so.

    Second question is regarding the cir-51 runs that had the errors. Do the notices have to be recreated or did the process stop so they will be picked up the next time around? I am hoping the second option as there are over 30 runs last night that included both overdue notices and bills for lost material!!

    Resolution:
    Yes, doing util a/17/1 for the abc00 z305 should take care of the problem.

    In regard to the second question.... The following SQL in NDS50 shows that the z36 was not updated.

    nds50@aleph16> select count(*) from z36 where z36_letter_date = '20080722';
    **** Hit return to continue ****

    COUNT(*)
    ----------
    0

    Therefore, the loans which did not have notices produced today will have them produced tomorrow.
