p_manage_01: z98_id: cannot CREATE UNIQUE INDEX; duplicate keys found
- Article Type: General
- Product: Aleph

Description:
We ran manage-01 last night in ABC01. This morning word searches do not bring back any results.
The $alephe_scratch job log has this:
Thu Sep 23 04:06:33 EDT 2010 Error : Only 0 indexes out of 1 for table z98 were created
Thu Sep 23 04:06:33 EDT 2010 Error : index list for index creation was 'z98_id'
Thu Sep 23 04:06:33 EDT 2010 Error : Please check logs /exlibris/aleph/u20_2/abc01/scratch/create_ora_tables_z98_id*.log
$data_scratch/create_ora_tables_z98_id*.log shows:
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01452: cannot CREATE UNIQUE INDEX; duplicate keys found
We are also now see errors in the $data_scratch/run_e_01_word.4957:
HANDLING DOC NO. - ABC01.001097879 09:34:23
Update z98 from z980 : 014008062752
Execution error : file '/exlibris/aleph/a20_2/aleph/exe/compress_data_ads.gnt'
error code: 114, pc=0, call=1, seg=0
114 Attempt to access item beyond bounds of memory (Signal 11)
Resolution:
I was able to successfully build the z98_id, using util a/17/18, as described in KB 8192-424.
Then I stopped/started ue_01 (util e/2 / util e/1) -- to get the ue_01_word running again.
ue_01 and ue_01_word were then processing successfully, but a test of the OPAC showed that certain searches were not working (first names "Michael", "Robert", etc., were giving far too few results), so the site resubmitted p_manage_01.
