Problem Symptoms:
Create Holdings and Item Records Using Bibliographic Data (manage-50): When running the service with "Item Record Creation Mode" set to "A" (Create item records in addition to existing ones), and the barcode taken from the BIB record to create a new item already exists for another item, a new item is NOT created. However, the log file of the batch states that an item has been created.

Description: p_manage_50 (Create Holdings and Item Records Using Bibliographic Data) - When running the batch with "Item Record Creation Mode" set to "A" (Create item records in addition to existing ones), and the barcode taken from the BIB record to create a new item already exists for another item, a new item is not created. However, the log file of the batch states that an item has been created.

Solution: This has been corrected. If the BIB info contains a barcode that is already used by another item, a new item is not created, an appropriate error message is displayed in the batch's log file, and the batch summary correctly indicates that no item has been created.
