Description:
Publish_06 produced 40 separate tar.gz files instead of the one file that I was expecting when I ran it for the entire document range. Is this the expected outcome? If so how did it arrive at 40 files?

Resolution:
As can be seen in the $aleph_proc/p_publish_06, when the p_publish_type = "DOC", the processes work on the records in parallel. They can't be writing to the same output file at once, so the proc is set up so that each process writes to its own output file.
