Description:
I ran ret-01 over a range of records recently loaded with the cataloger as "XXXX".
However, the service failed to retrieve any of those records. It appears to only find records
for which that value is in the last CAT field.

Resolution:
The Cataloger field is intended to retrieve only the last cataloger - who is considered the actual record's cataloger.
To retrieve all cataloger's records, regardless of when the cataloger updated the record, please use field CAT, subfield a, From Text / To Text.
