    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 21

    Problem Symptoms:
ret-01 ("Retrieve Catalog Records") with Last Update Date To < 2010, retrieves no records -- even though there *are* records older than 2010.

    Cause:
ret-01 submitted with zeros for open-date's.

    Resolution:
    Make open-date's legitimate dates.

To make the creation date not be considered (just the Last Update Date) all open-dates need to be allowed :

setenv p_open_date_from "yyyymmdd" <where yyyymmdd is the date of the oldest record in the system>
    setenv p_open_date_to "yyyymmdd" <where yyyymmdd is today's date>

    Additional Information

The open-date's as seen in the original $alephe_scratch job log (prior to correction): setenv p_open_date_from "00000000" setenv p_open_date_to "00000000"
