    Description:
Is there a check similar for hold requests in tab_hold_request similar to check_circ_1_c_b in tab_check_circ where a warning is given to the gui operator about the approaching expiry date of the patron record based on tab30?

    Resolution:
check_hold_request_r serves the same function as check_circ_1_c_a: it prevents the hold (/loan) from taking place if the patron is expired.

But there is no equivalent to check_circ_1_c_b which issues a warning if the expiration date is within a specified range.

Having holds do the same would be an enhancement request.
