    Description:
When creating records through the functionality 'Catalog record', available in CIRC and ACQ modules, the system changes the language code of the catalogue in field 100 (UNIMARC) according to the interface language.

pos. 22-24 (starting from zero) of field 100 must be set to 'ita' because that is the cataloguing language, and our tab_tag_text is set accordently to the standard.

There are no lines for field 100 and 'eng' language'. Hower the system changes the language code if I use the english GUI interface. br

    Why does this happen?

    Resolution:
Additional setting is required. System checks language in Alephcom\ tab\ CONV_LNG.DAT file. If language is defined there, system overrides the 3 characters taken from tab_tag_text. Please set your CONV_LNG.DAT to ITA.

    Additional Information

    CONV_LNG.DAT, language, tab_tag_text
