    ue_01_word_parallel slowness

    Description:
    We're still seeing considerable slowness in the ue_01_word_parallel process. I looked at some old logs and from earlier in February when we did a large delete and we were processing 1000 to almost 3000 records an hour. Today we are seeing 250 records go through this process each hour.

    At 10 PM last night one of our libraries ran p_item_11 and deleted over 11,000 records. The first hour after that ue_01_word_parallel handled 3243 records. The next hour it handled 1681 records. Since then the best hour has been 323 records.

    Any ideas on why this process would be so slow now? Is there something we should look at?

    Resolution:
    We found out that there was a problem with the SAN that was causing the slowness.
