upgrade_express_2101_2201 step 1004 doesn't complete

Problem Symptoms:
Though it doesn't issue any error message, upgrade_express_2101_2201 step 1004 (update the z353) has been running for 11 hours and has still not completed. There are 1.3 million z303 records (which are the main input to this step 1004).
Cause:
Defects in the 1004 procs -- which prevent proper handling of large numbers of z303's (> 500,000?).
Resolution:
A new version of upgrade step 1004 was created and included in kit upgrade_express_2101_2201.tar.1.06 on Dec. 30, 2014.
This version runs successfully in five minutes.
