v16 CIRC has Defective Return History Window (window.dat problem)

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 16.02

    Description:
In the CIRC GUI, Return -> History -> Return History tab, we have three buttons which display only the descriptor (and only partially at that). The window.dat does not have the appropriate lines to enable display of the appropriate buttons. The buttons are functional, BUT not being able to see what they are supposed to be is annoying.
Please give me the appropriate lines to add to our window.dat.

    Resolution:
The change described in Service Pack Change Number 795 needs to be implemented (see the needed lines below):

Description: Three Buttons have been added to the return history window in Circ module, for backwards compatibility: Print User, Push to Items and Push to User.
    1. Print User - Will print all user's transactions in the history list dependent on the current (single) selection.
    2. Push to Items - Will open the relevant item in the Items tab dependent on the current (single) selection.
    3. Push to User - Will open the relevant user in the User tab dependent on the current (single) selection.
    Implementation Notes:
To add the buttons to your Circulation GUI client, please add the following lines to the window.dat file of the circ/tab/lng directory:
    ReturnHistory.Btn.PrintUser #Print P&atron
    ReturnHistory.Btn.Item #&Item
    ReturnHistory.Btn.User #Pa&tron
