    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    Problem Symptoms:
    The number of z07a records is continuously growing.
    Sub process ue_01_z0102 is very slow, handling 1 record every 20 minutes.

    Cause:
    The base definition for one of the bases contains truncation (*)

    Resolution:
    * Change the base definition of $alephe_tab/tab_base.lng avoiding truncations

    Example:
    Instead of
    TESTBASE Test ABC01 USM01 ABC01 N alldocuments not exs=9*

    Define
    TESTBASE Test ABC01 USM01 ABC01 N alldocuments not exs=(90 or 91 or 92 or 93 or 94 or 95 or 96 or 97)

    * Restart background processes
    a) ue_01 (indexing)
    b) ue_21 (publishing, if relevant)

    After re-configuration the ue_01_z0102 process is handling the z07a records much faster.
