Currently only part of the MARC record is available as specialized fields in Analytics.

This should be changed to allow for more customized Analytic Searches.

If possible, the entire MARC record should be available in Analytics without institutions having to ask for specialized fields to be mapped into Analytics.

    status: open
    priority: high
    subject area: physical items
    resource management

    Use Case:

The question of whether or not users can search for a specific MARC field or subfield in Analytics comes up often in ALMA-L discussions.

The lack of certain fields being mapped impacts the ability of institutions to utilize earlier and later than title identifiers in their reports.

Institutions are currently forced into creating 9XX fields for their MARC 780-785 fields in order to get them mapped into Analytics.
