What is the purpose and functionality of the "Generate" button (seen in the Physical Item Editor)?

Answer

This button automatically populates the 'Description' field of the physical item, based on the values in the Chronology and Enumeration fields and the formatting defined in the relevant Description Template.

Staff can generate the description manually while editing the item or automatically when saving the item.
