'Unable to update mapping table. A required parameter was not supplied: ill item creation lib code.' when editing Other Settings table in Fulfillment Configuration

Problem Symptoms

When trying to edit parameters in Fulfillment>Fulfillment Configuration>Configuration Menu>General>Other Settings, the edit fails to save with an error message stating 'Unable to update mapping table. A required parameter was not supplied: ill_item_creation_lib_code.'

Cause

The ill_item_creation_lib_code and ill_item_creation_loc_code parameters need to be valid codes associated with a library that is designated a Resource Sharing Library; if you don't have a Resource Sharing Library defined but have values in these fields, you will see this error 

Resolution

If you don't have a Resource Sharing Library configured, set the ill_item_creation_lib_code and ill_item_creation_loc_code parameters to blank.

To verify if a Library is configured to be a Resource Sharing Library:

• Go to General Configuration>Libraries>Add a Library or Edit Library Information>Libraries
• Edit the Library
• Look at the 'Is resource sharing library' checkbox value under the Resource Sharing Information section
