Question

An API request can be retrieved but returns an error “Request not found” upon PUT: GET request > Update comment in the XML body > PUT > “Request not found” error is returned.

Answer

Check the request retrieved by GET. If the request_status is History, the request is not active.

Example:
<request_status>History</request_status>

Only active requests could be updated via API or UI.
