Angle brackets in field 245 in the metadata editor are rendered as HTML code. For example, the enclosed text is not displayed in the left pane or the browse shelf listing.
Resolution
Single angle brackets are not supported in field 245 in the metadata editor. (Double angle brackets are supported as non-filing characters.)
