    Description

When you are in a list of results and click "Holdings" in the actions menu of a BIB record, you get to a list of holdings records. From here you have an "Edit" button allowing you to edit the holdings record in the metadata editor.

However, when there is only one holdings record, you get directly to the view mode of this only existing holdings record.

    Resolution

This is the correct system behavior.

When you open a single holdings record from a results list you see the "Edit" button in the right upper corner and can click here in order to open the Holdings record in Metedata Editor.
