Question

When searching for a portfolio that does not exist in the library collection (possibly due to coverage), and checking “Expand my results”, a physical location from the institution collection is presented.  Is this a correct behavior?

Answer

Yes, At this time, physical holdings are NOT considered in determining the coverage and there are many variables in how the coverage can be entered in the 866 field.

We suggest searching the book or journal by its title or by its ISBN/ISSN, thus it will be retrieved together with its holdings.
