    Question

    Setting up Prediction Patterns for print journals creates items with process type of "Acquisition". In turn it puts an "On Order" note in the Primo display. Depending on the setup, these items can be requested. How to remove/suppress this view in Primo?

    Answer

    The solution is to exclude item process type "Acquisition" from display in Primo. The configuration is found at:

    • Primo: Configuration Menu > Resources > Record Export > Exclude Process Types from Publishing;
    • Primo VE: Configuration Menu > Discovery > Other > Exclude Process Types from Discovery Indexing.
