    Fields that are not in Controlled Vocabulary produce terms in drop-down when cataloging in MD Editor. Why?

    Answer

    This is an expected behavior that is not related to Controlled Vocabulary. It is an auto complete functionality that brings options based on already existing data.
    The fields and subfields that produce auto complete are:
    505r
    505t
    260a
    260b
    260e
    260f
