Question:

How can we prevent our catalogers from deleting certain bibliographic records and certain physical items?  We want to the user to have role(s) which allows him or her to delete bibliographic records and physical items, but not for all bibliographic records and physical items.  There are certain ones which for various reasons we must keep in our repository and cannot delete.

This is possible by using the table the tables “Bibliographic Collection Retention definition” and "Item Retention Reason"
