How do we activate the remaining unactivated portfolios in a partially activated collection?

Question

We found some aggregator collections we should have set to auto-activate new portfolios, but hadn’t set up that way initially. We can change that status now, but what's the best way to get the inactive portfolios activated?

Answer

For each collection, Edit Service and switch to the Portfolios tab, use the Add menu, and Add All Portfolios from Community.

This will pick up any unactivated portfolios and activate them, ignoring any currently activated ones, so there will be no duplicates. The Auto-Activate setting will then pick up any newly added portfolios from this point forward.
