How to delete an extra local portfolio visible in Metadata Editor Show Inventory

Desired Outcome Goal:
The Metadata Editor shows extra, redundant portfolios in the Portfolio tab.
The MD Editor enables only to "Edit" or "View".
How to deactivate or delete those links that are not tied to a POL?
Procedure:
1) Search for the record in "All Titles"
2) Find the title and select: "Deactivate" or "Delete".

The required Role is explained in KB 16384-57811, "There is no option to delete an item from the inventory"
