Is it possible to prevent catalogers in our Member Institutions from editing specific fields in bibliographic records which are linked to the Network Zone?

Question:

We are a Network Zone Consortia and do not want catalogers from the Member Institutions to be able to edit all fields of bibliographic records which are linked to the Network Zone.  For example we do not want them to touch the 035, 020 and 022 fields (and some others).  Is this possible and if so how?

Answer:

This is possible by using the "Fields restriction policy" table in the Network Zone institution.
