    Question

After making changes to Item Policies at the Institution-Level, one or more Libraries are not inheriting these changes. How can this be fixed?

    Answer

When Alma Item Policies are added or updated at the Library-level, it breaks the connection with the Institution-level Item Policies for that library. Open a case with Ex Libris Support and ask them to Restore the connection.

    Additional Information

After the Library-level Item Policies have been restored, all custom policies for that library will be lost and it will be a copy of the Institution's policies. It is not possible for a library to have custom item policies as well as inherit changes from the Institution-level.
