Description

When you configure the Mail Handling integration profile you can use the Save and Test functionality. When executed, an email is sent to the preferred email of the logged-in user.

Sometimes there is an error message: Failure sending email to xxx

Resolution

The reason for this failure is that the Test mail is disabled in the letter configuration.

To resolve the issue, go the the Alma Configuration > General > Letters Configuration. There is one letter called "Test letter". This letter needs to be enabled for the Save and Test functionality in the Mail Handling Integration profile.
