    Question

After activating Ovid, how to enable linking to journal, ebook, or article level? Currently all links lead to the login page.

    Answer

Depending on your configuration with Ovid, set the IPAUTH linking parameter of the Full text service to yes (i.e., "yes", all lowercase, no quotation marks) for IP authentication.

Alternatively, if you use a username and password for authentication, add them to the USERNAME and PASSWORD linking parameters.

    To do this:

    1. Search under "Electronic Collection" for the Ovid collection (e.g.: Ovid Lippincott Williams and Wilkins Total Access Collection 2015)
    2. Click: Edit Service
    3. Go to Linking Information (tab)
    4. In the "Linking Parameters" at the bottom, type yes (all lowercase) next to IPAUTH, or add your username and password to USERNAME and PASSWORD.
