    Question

    On switch to Alma, need to update the Service URL in various databases, also ProQuest.

    Which URL to add in the Proquest admin instance, and what is the "ProQuest supported OpenURL metadata fields"?

    Answer

    The first part of the URL is the "service URL", defined in Primo. The structure is:

    http://<primo_fe_server_url:port>/openurl/<primo_institution_code>/<primo_services_page_view_code>

    The second part of the URL is the template:

    genre=<GENRE>&issn=<ISSN>&title=<TITLE>&volume=<VOLUME>&issue=<ISSUE>&date=<DATE>&atitle=<ATITLE>&spage=<SPAGE>&sid=<SID>&author=<AULAST>

    The complete URL may look like this:

    http://college-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/openurl/COLLEGE/college_services_page?genre=<GENRE>&issn=<ISSN>&title=<TITLE>&volume=<VOLUME>&issue=<ISSUE>&date=<DATE>&atitle=<ATITLE>&spage=<SPAGE>&sid=<SID>&author=<AULAST>
