    Question

We added a Public Note to the Database / Electronic Collection -- but now all Portfolios have inherited the note(s).
How to remove the note from some or all of the portfolios, and just keep the note at the Collection level?

    Answer

The Public Note which is added to the Electronic Collection (Database), or the Service (e.g. full-text service) - will trickle-down to all its portfolios

    Additional Information

If it is not necessary to add the note to the collection or the service as a whole, manage it by creating a set and utilize the job "Change electronic portfolio information"
