    • Product: Alma
    • Product Version: All
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Multi-Tenant Direct, Dedicated-Direct, Local, TotalCare

    Symptoms

    - The information displayed in the repository search represents elements which are deleted.

    - Either that the record can't be deleted manually from Alma, or the same record has a second "ghost" representation.

    - A record is found in Analytics as active or in Primo but not found in the Alma repository search

    Replication Steps

Search the specific inventory via analytics and check if:

    • The record appears in Alma but the value in the "Lifecycle" field reads "Deleted".
    • The Record's lifecycle in Analytics reads as "active" but the record does not appear in Alma.

    Solution

Contact Alma Support, providing them with the scenario to reproduce, and ask them to run a DB/Solr Indexing Job. This should fix any indexing errors that are causing the misrepresentation.
Please note that the indexing process may take some time.
