How to rename a library in Alma?
Renaming a library means to change its Organization Unit name.
In Alma this is done via Administration > General Configuration > Configuration Menu > Libraries > Add a Library or Edit Library Information. Go to the "Libraries" tab and look up the relevant library and click on Actions > Edit. Changes to the Organization unit name take effect immediately all over Alma and in the Get It tab in Primo after saving the changes.
Additionally, in Primo code tables / delivery / library names needs to be adjusted to reflect the changes in made in Alma. This can be done in the Primo institution wizard page 1. You will need to save & deploy all changes in the institution wizard. For more info see Editing a Library.
