      This is an intended behaviour. Previous behaviour was not by design. Alma is now aligned with the broker’s behavior – single request with multiple items.

      Please note that from Alma it is evident to the operator that there are multiple received items that need to be checked out, and when the loan is done to the patron multiple loans are created. Multiple hold shelf items are managed as well.

    Alma > Patron Services screen (Checkout/Checkin > Manage Patron Services > Requests or User Details > Manage Fulfillment Activities > Requests) continues displaying multiple requests, since those are the hold requests.

    The reason for this difference is that in My Account the patron sees the status of a Resource Sharing request. The patron doesn't know about the multiple items when submitting a request.

    In Patron Services the operator needs to see the items that are on shelf/transit, i.e. the status of all items related to this request.
