    Question

The "Reporting Code" field displays "-1" or other incorrect values when using the Fund Expenditure subject area in Analytics. Why?

    Answer

This issue can occur when using a "Reporting Code" field from the wrong table in Analytics. The Fund Expenditure subject area offers the ability to retrieve reporting codes from multiple different areas in Alma, including from a fund transaction, PO Line, or invoice line. Please double check that you are using the reporting code from the correct table that you want to pull the data from.

The available reporting code fields are listed below in the format "Table name.Field name":

"Reporting Code.Reporting Code 1-5" - Pulls the reporting code from a fund transaction

"PO Line.Reporting Code 1-5" - Pulls the reporting code from the PO Line record

"Invoice Line.Invoice Line-Reporting Code 1-5" - Pulls the reporting code from the invoice line record
