How is time-out defined in "Manage Patron Services"? How to customize how much time a circulation desk operator can work with the loan or return menus, before the window times itself out? 

Answer

The default value is 2 minutes. It is possible to configure a value between 1-30 minutes, through the parameter: patron_services_timeout_minutes. It is found in: Configuration Menu > Fulfillment > General > Other Settings.

Currently, the Alma session timeout is one hour. Plans exist to enable configuration (2025_H2).
