How can we customize the amount of time that a circulation desk operator can work with the loan or return menus, before the window times itself out?

Answer

The steps to update the parameter are:

1. Go to Configuration > Fulfillment > Other Settings
2. For the parameter "patron_services_timeout_minutes," click: Customize
4. Change the value
5. Save the value

Please note that this timeout parameter refers only to the number of minutes after which the Patron Services page closes.
You can configure a value between 1-30 minutes. The default value is 2 minutes
